"Shift Happens" Kickstarter!

There is a great Kickstarter campaign happening right now (February 2023) to fund the publishing of a beautiful 1,200-page, two-volume book called Shift Happens by Marcin Wichary which explores the history of keyboard design for typewriters, computers, etc!

Dvorak is mentioned in the pitch video a couple of times. I'm excited to check out these books!

DVzine.org was down this morning but is now back online!

Have talked to the experts, who are weighing in on best approach to fix problem.  Should be solved by the end of the day!  In the meantime, if anyone really needs to read the zine, it is mirrored on my personal site.

Dvorak on the iPhone... finally!

One of our commenters, Vere informed us that there is a new App for iOS that (finally!) let's you type Dvorak on your iPhone.  It's called Dvorak by Tobias Mao and it's FREE to install!

It's pretty bare bones - but it works! Let's hope Tobias continues to develop it.  For now it's a start!
